Nigerian gospel singers Solomon Lange, Naomi Mac, and Tayo Christian featured in an upcoming faith based movie “Chains – No Longer Slave”.

The movie ‘Chains – No Longer a slave’ was written and directed by Bright Wonder Obasi, The movie is aimed towards a renewal experience for viewers bringing together gospel music in the movie to inspire and transform.

According to the writer and director ‘Obasi’ on a statement made on Wednesday to newsmen “the aim of the movie is to demonstrate the struggle’s and triumphs musicians pass through in the gospel music and music industry as a whole”. The movie to premier in Abuja and Lagos before it official release on August 16, 2024.

He also State that “the movie set in the gospel music and the music industry in general, tells the story of gospel musicians in their journey to reconcile their faith with the pressure of the industry.

“God’s overwhelming love and the eternal quest for a lost soul,” Bright Wonder Obasi. Delving deep into the challenges one pass through while chasing one’s dreams in a challenging world.

“Films have become more influential in shaping societal norms and values than even the Sunday School classroom. Every piece of content drives an agenda.
