American Gospel Singer 'Mandisa' dies at 47

Mandisa Lynn Hundley, was found dead at her home in Nashville, Tennessee, on 18 April. Her dead was her representative confirmed.

“We can confirm that yesterday Mandisa was found in her home deceased. At this time we do not know the cause of death or any further details. We ask for your prayers for her family and close knit circle of friends during this incredibly difficult time.
Mandisa was a voice of encouragement and truth to people facing life’s challenges all around the world. She wrote this song for a dear friend who had passed in 2017.
Her own words say it best.”

And I am not alone”

Mandisa Lynn Hundley, born in California and a proud graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, went into the spotlight in 2006 as a standout contender on Season Five of “American Idol.” she persevered and ultimately secured a respectable ninth-place finish in the contest.
