Gospel Singer Hazel Ramabu, based in Ga-Ramela, Limpopo, Polokwane South Africa, stated on Daily Sun how she was discouraged as a Christian, and how God gave her the vision to host gospel concert.

The “Christ Defines me” concert is scheduled for for June 15 at Dexa Deo Pretoria Central.

The concert is to feature gospel star Hlengwe Mwaba and Gospel Power House Zaza Mokhehi.

Hazel also told Daily Sun how she came up with the idea which she shared with her manager who helped her in organizing the concert.

“I was given the vision by God. I was criticised by Christian people and judged because of the way they think I am. As I was praying unto the Lord, He gave me scripture from John 1:12-13.  

“I felt in my heart that I need to declare this to the world, and so, is every believer of Christ. We should declare that we’re defined by Christ and not by things we go through or what others say about us,” said Hazel.

Hazel Ramaba had perform on stage with gospel artist Lucas Maloma, Puleng March, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Lebo Sekgobela, Solly Moholo, Tumisang Seleke, Kholeka, and Hle.

She also urge her fans to expect new music release from her, she also explained how she got inspirations to write her songs.

“On 1 June, I’ll be releasing seven songs, Mercy, No Other God, Liyabasebenzela, Vessel of Honor, Re Tshwarele, Babu’Musa, and I trust you, Lord. “Mercy is a song God gave me during Covid-19 from Psalm 123. It was a cry to the Lord that He shows His mercy. Liyabasebenzela was written by my friend Nomkhuleko Moatshe, I featured her as we’re testifying about the name of the Lord.”

The gospel artist claimed she started music at the age of 11, but could not record due to limited resources While at Ramela Primary School

“I was singing at crusades, passed my matric and went to Lephalale to study mechanical engineering, that’s when my music career expanded as I joined the New Covenant in Christ Ministry International worship team, led by Apostle Moswathupa.”
