Gospel artiste selected for US music residency

A gospel singer, Olamilekan Olowosile, aka Mista Olamilekan, is been given a slot in the Films and Music category of the 2024 Temidayo Ogan Child Safety and Support Foundation International USA ‘Artist in Residence’ programme.

On a statement sent to Sunday Scoop stated that programme was expected to push the artist music career to a more greater height, to also serve as acceptance of his talent and artistry, making him one among top gospel artist on a global level.

Olamilekan expressed his gratitude and stated that he was eagerly waiting to contribute to the programme’s mission of learning, development, mentoring, coaching, and community service.

He said, “I am indeed grateful to God for this opportunity and mostly elated about the platform. I plan to accept this offer, because I am confident that I have something valuable to share on this platform. I look forward to my ministrations. My mandate is to spread the gospel throughout the world. It is a privilege to have this platform and use these outreach initiatives to engage people.

“With the experience gathered from my years of service, and also with the help of God, I will contribute positively to the efforts of the TOCSS Foundation. I have mentored a few people directly and indirectly in this field, and I can train many more.”

The singer, who is involved in the Temidayo Music Medicine project, stated that quality music could be a powerful tool for promoting public health and safety, especially when combined with a larger public health initiative.
